Edward began dancing as a young teenager in Iowa, learning many styles and performing in various musical theater productions before moving to New York.

Couple's Career Highlights

Edward and Michelle met in New York City, and less than a year later they were crowned the 1996 US and World Professional Smooth Champions. Since his retirement, Edward has become a renowned coach, judge, organizer, studio owner, and Dancesport ambassador. Off the dance floor, Michelle is an ambassador and advocate for several non-profit organizations.
