Maria Tzaptashvili

Maria was born in Omsk, Russia and started dancing at the age of 12. One year later, she moved to Moscow to continue her dancing career.

Vladimir Karpov

Vladimir was born in Moscow and started dancing at the age of seven. Like many others, he began dancing because he liked a girl who took dance classes. Though the girl stopped dancing, Vladimir has kept up his dancing to this day.

Couple's Career Highlights

Vladimir and Maria are current WDSF World Professional Latin runners-up and two-time World Amateur Latin Champions. They have also been European Cup Amateur Latin Champions and represented Russia in the Amateur and Professional categories.
