  • This does not represent the order in which the couples will be performing. Dances will be interleaved.
  • Each night will feature different performers - come to both evenings to ensure you get to see all your favorite couples!

The historic Hammerstein Ballroom, located within the Manhattan Center in Midtown Manhattan, was built in 1906 by Oscar Hammerstein. The magnificent former opera house, recently renovated, boasts a soaring 75-foot ceiling, a spacious 12,000 square foot interior, and excellent acoustical design. In the heart of Manhattan, the Hammerstein is ideally located within walking distance to Herald Square, Penn Station, and Times Square. Directions

By Subway

A, C, E - Take train to 34th Street Station. Exit at 8th Avenue.

1, 2, 3 - Take train to 34th Street Station. Exit at 7th Avenue and 34th Street and walk one avenue west to 8th Avenue.

B, D, F, M, N, Q, R - Take train to 34th Street / Herald Square. Exit at 34th Street and 6th Avenue and walk two avenues west to 8th Avenue.

By Car

New Jersey and Points South

  • I-95 North to Exit 16
  • Take Lincoln Tunnel into Manhattan.
  • Bear right upon exiting the tunnel and proceed to 34th Street.
  • Turn left on 34th Street and go East.
  • Manhattan Center is on the left side of 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.

Connecticut and New England Area

  • I-95 - South to New York City (road turns into the Cross Bronx Expressway).
  • Follow signs to the George Washington Bridge's Lower Level but do not cross the bridge.
  • Exit 1 to 9A South.
  • Head toward Downtown.
  • Turn left on 34th Street and go East.
  • Manhattan Center is on the left side on 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.

Pennsylvania and Points West

  • I-80 to George Washington Bridge.
  • Immediately after crossing the bridge, exit onto 9A South.
  • Head towards Downtown.
  • Turn left on 34th Street and go East.
  • Manhattan Center is on the left side on 34th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.

By Train

Amtrak, Long Island Rail Road, or New Jersey Transit to Pennsylvania Station

Metro North to Grand Central Station

  • Take the Metro North Railroad using the Harlem, Hudson or New Haven lines to Grand Central Station.

From Grand Central, you can either:

  • Take a taxi to the Manhattan Center; or
  • Take the Shuttle or 7 train from Grand Central to Times Square and transfer to the 1, 2, 3, A, C or E trains downtown to 34th Street (walk as directed above).

By Air

Airports:

You can use
  • La Guardia (LGA) (closest to Midtown Manhattan)
  • JFK
  • Newark Airport (EWR)

From airport, you can either:

  • Take a taxi to the Manhattan Center
  • Take a shuttle bus to the Port Authority Bus Terminal near Times Square. Then take the 1, 2, 3, A, C or E trains to 34th Street (more info on travel by Subway)
